A Worthy Cause

A good friend of the store invited us to be a part of a trunk show at her house this week.  All of the vendors donated a part of their proceeds to Raphael House - established in 1971, the first shelter in San Francisco for homeless families.   A few days before Halloween, I had the great pleasure of meeting some of the children who live at Raphael House, when they took an after-school field trip to the store.   I was told afterwards that it made the kids’ day - mine as well.  I’m honored to have been part of such wonderful events.
