Valentine’s day approaches

February 14th is just around the corner, and the store is now filled with lots of amazing Valentine’s Day gifts. We have foil-wrapped milk and dark chocolate hearts, raspberry jelly hearts, cupid corn, super sour gummi hearts and, of course, that old standby: Necco’s conversation hearts. The flavors haven’t changed, although they did add “Email Me” to the selection of sayings (I guess “Speed Date Me” didn’t fit). In addition to these fun candies, we have some special chocolate collections - from Valerie Confections and Chocolat Moderne, as well as local favorites Coco-luxe and Charles Chocolates. We expect to sell out relatively early, so shop now if you want to make someone happy - trust me, your loved one will not be impressed by a Whitman’s sampler you purchased late in the afternoon at Walgreen’s…
